I hardly ever pick up flu or bugs etc but a month ago my 3 year old son (who is in nursery) got a bad flu (fever, cough, unhappiness) & was ill for a week. I then caught it & was in agony with cough & sore throat for 2 weeks - most ill I can remember being. Also vague GI symptoms & exhaustion. I’m now 4 weeks later & improved but still have back of cough, feel like gasping for oxygen when walking & what’s worrying me is still very sore throat especially at night.
the strange thing is that the sore throat switches from one side to the other - for a few days when swallowing it’s one side & then it moves - has anyone had this or similar ?
i went to GP 2 weeks ago & they just said to rest up - but it’s still bothering me so much
