Maternity Pay and UC

Hii everyone,

i am currently pregnant with my first child and don't understand a couple things, probs baby brain but hey ho!

i am entitled to SMP whilst i am off, i had seen online you can apply for UC also? so do you get your SMP and UC entitlement or are they adjusted to match?

i have worked out the entitlement i can get from UC using the entitled to website.

can someone help :(

Do you have a partner OP? As it’s not just based on your income, it’s based on household income. SMP is treated as earnings for UC purposes

Yeah i have a husband, i put his income into the entitled calculator so the figure i got from that is my maternity included in that figure?

Did you include your maternity pay in your calcs?

i couldnt see where to put that in, i had put on it i would be on statutory leave
