Am I having a miscarriage?

TW. Miscarriage?
I found out I was pregnant 4 days ago.
Did 4 positive pregnancy tests. And yesterday I was shopping had cramping and brown bleeding.
I’ve now passed a clot and loads of red blood (more than 7 pads) I haven’t had pains since yesterday afternoon.
I’ve been to the hospital. They checked my bloods and my HCG is low.. (45) not sure what this means.. They’ve told me they are going to repeat the process Wednesday by doing my bloods again and seeing the level of HCG in my blood.
But I feel like I’m being left in limbo? Not knowing whether I’m miscarrying? What do I do?

It sounds like you could be miscarrying unfortunately especially combined with the low HCG levels. There's nothing you can do at this stage but wait for the next blood test and hope your levels rise and there's another reason for the bleeding. It's more than likely a miscarriage but this early on nobody can ever be sure.

I'm so sorry you're in this limbo land, it's the thing no one tells you about miscarriage and it's awful.

I was left in limbo from weeks 5 pregnant, eventually got confirmation that it was a miscarriage when I was just over 9 weeks ended up have to take medication to help the miscarriage along. I had a low hcg starting at 45. It did go up each time but never doubled. I am so sorry this is happening to you. Here if you need to chat 💜
