DC1 - bang on day of period
DC2 - 1 week late
DC3 (pregnant now) 11 days late - blazing positive each time

Do you know when you ovulated? If you are pregnant you should be resting positive two weeks after which for most people ties in with the missed period.

25th Jan I had my + ovulation but I didn’t test before or after that day, just off on a whim, both lines were really dark.

Cycles are always regular 21-23 days

I’m not even getting PMS symptoms it’s so confusing?

@SCK2024 hmm that's weird. I would expect you to be testing positive by now really...can you get a really concentrated urine sample and test that?! Dehydrated yourself a bit 😂

1 day late on period. Had an obvious positive at that point too

Beeebon · 11/02/2025 23:19

Sounds like you have maybe ovulated much later than you think or not at all. Some cycles you can just not ovulate at all, and others can be really late ovulation which delays period
Your positive ovulation test would suggests you ovulated 26th January, but if that was the case then you should either have a period or a positive test by now. Since you have neither I'm thinking you didn't actually ovulate then.
You can get an LH surge (the hormone picked up by the ovulation strips) but don't actually ovulate

5 days before period with my son and 3 days before with my daughter. We had fertility treatment so knew ovulation date pretty much exactly.
Agree with PP who said that positive ovulation test doesn’t always mean that ovulation will happen, just that your body is trying to ovulate.

So I have an odd story for you.
I was testing for all of May and June 2024 as my last period was in April. The doctors even tested and all were BFN. Was tested and diagnosed with PCOS at the start of July 24.
Turns out that I was actually pregnant the whole time. Found out I was expecting at 32 weeks on Christmas eve. Being induced today.
Sorry probably no help for you but just wanted to say that it does happen.
My sister was 8 weeks along before she got her BFP with her youngest.

I took 2 boots own brand tests in CD 25/26 which is usually when my cycle ends. Both negative! Assumed no pregnancy. No period a week later, so CD 31, never have cycles those long, blazing positive!
