Unexpected Pregnancy (Clear Blue Test!)

Hi All,

I will keep this short. I was not planning on another child, I have two children 8 and 5. Plus I am no spring chick! After a missed period, I thought I was maybe early menopause. Turns out, I am POSSIBLY pregnant. I had a positive dip stick, and a clear blue indicator that said 1-2 weeks. I took another clear blue this morning, thinking today will be 2+ weeks since conception (expecting 2-3). This said 'not pregnant', now head more of a shed than before. I spoke to hosptial, they said likely not pregnant, and test wrong, do another in a week. But honestly.....I need to do planning, I need to know, either way.

I since went and did another test (££), and low and behold it says 1-2 weeks (so, so confused!). Do you think this is a chemical pregnancy? Has anyone had similar and been pregnant?

Head is a shed, many thanks xx

I think you’re pregnant and one test was probably slightly faulty. Have you taken a pink dye test like a first response?

Yeah, it seems fainter than yesterday. Sta at work, with my head spinning in 1000 directions atm

Have you tried calling your GP clinic to see if they can do a blood test for you?
If you explain you aren't sure if you want to go ahead with the pregnancy so need to know asap

I tried to explain to the hospital, and they were saying I should just do a test next week. I will try to GP

I have done another, and now saying not pregnant again. This is a nightmare - as anyone had this before??

HCG levels may be too low during the day so I always think it’s best to test first thing. It’s also possible that some tests are more sensitive than others.

I would ask gp for a blood test.

I'm going to get a blood test. Suspect chemical pregnancy, feels like before:(
