Hi, I was wondering if anyone new about any support groups/forums that I can join, I’ve had really bad pregnancy anxiety and I just have days where I wish I could talk to someone. I talk to my partner but he just says what will be will be and that really doesn’t help me and he’s always so positive which again sometimes makes me feel like I’m not being listened to, I feel family are so close they tell me what they think I want to hear so I would rather speak to some people that have been through it.
thank you.

Sorry you’re feeling so anxious - you can speak to your midwife and they should suggest support through your local NHS talking therapies. I recently did that as I’ve been incredibly anxious and feeling depressed through my first trimester - I’ve started private counselling which I’m not sure how long I’ll continue it for, but right now it’s worth the investment and is really helping work through the anxieties pregnancy has brought on!

Keep speaking to friends, your partner, family and definitely contact your midwife / GP / therapist or counsellor to help you :) take care x
