Make sense of my pregnancy tests

Please see attached pic.

I'm about 7 weeks.

I had a dye stealer at 4 weeks on frer.

This morning I panicked because of lack of symptoms and took more pregnancy tests.

To my shock the line on a frer and on an Internet cheapie were quite pale.

I took a boots test and a clearblue weeks indicator. The boots one was still a strong line and the clearblue weeks indicator still put me at 3 + weeks.

Shouldn't the frer test also have a strong line if I'm 3 + weeks on clearblue?

They are all positive

There's something called the Hook effect when there's too much HCG and the line gets lighter as a result. I think it's likely to be that.

I think your tests all look great. I wouldn't worry unnecessarily as extra stress isn't going anything good.

I thought about the hook effect as well....I'll book myself an early reassurance scan for 8 weeks....it's the only way to know what's "in there".

They're so pricey though nowadays.....100 £ for a scan:( xx

Just wanted to update this thread.....I tested again on second morning urine and the tests look so much stronger now than they looked this morning with FMU (Pic attached).

On two of them the test line is even stronger than the control line.

Maybe this will help anyone who stumbles across this thread in the future. Don't be like me, don't p*ss money down the toilet and stop testing. xx
