Anterior placenta, when did you feel movements?

Nearly 20 weeks and patiently waiting :) might have felt a little something once but I’m not confident tbh

I was just over 21 weeks when I felt a definite kick in my bladder!

TheMadShip · 07/02/2025 19:42

I think around 21-22 weeks. That was when the very faint sensations I'd been feeling sporadically for a few weeks became a bit stronger and I was more confident that it was the baby and not just a muscle spasm. I didn't feel proper kicks till a good bit later, at first it was just twitches.

My last pregnancy it was anterior. I felt a bubble sensation- 2-3 times at about 19 weeks but I assumed it was gas. Then I started to feel movements from 22/23 weeks.

I'm the same, 19 weeks with an anterior placenta and not felt anything yet 😒

I started feeling definite movements from around 20 weeks (compared to 16-17 weeks with a posterior placenta in my first pregnancy)

Started feeling twitches at about 18 weeks. Now 21 weeks and they definitely feel stronger! I have an anterior placenta but it isn't low down.

Around 20-21 weeks. Had my 20 week scan today at 21 weeks and have been told the placenta is around the belly button. I’m not surprised. I had a posterior placenta with my last pregnancy and felt movements very early, flutters even as early as 15 weeks.

This one I didn’t really have flutters in the same way. It went from zero to proper kicks and they are down low and occasionally to the side .

Around the 20 week scan. But tbh I kept not feeling anything up till the end. I had to concentrate to count kicks and had one of those movement counting wrist bands. It was quite worrying.

Felt something I was sure was a little pop during my 20 week scan but I'd say it was still 2-3 weeks until I could reliably feel her. 30 weeks now and whilst it's not as intense as I felt with a posterior placenta last time, it's extremely clear when shes having a workout!

I had an AP with my first and felt movements from about 22/23 weeks.

Hopefully not too much longer for you
