Bump.

A bit late to the party.

Amber, Blaize and Coral (dd)
Amber, Blaize and Saturn, Tao, Stormy (ds)

tjgx, I found a Web site just now promoting a name book but the author has done a really incredible java program you can view in your browser and see how popular a name has been this last century ! Well worth a look:

babynamewizard.com/

Wow that java program is cooool - I'm a java programmer, so easily excited by such things - also 37 weeks pregnant and still on a name hunt. So now I know how I'll spend my last two days in the office!

Enjoy, pidge. The visualisation method for the universe of names is phenomenally quick (at least on my lovely Apple Powerbook), isn't it ? A really neat tool.

Pidge · 10/02/2005 16:21

It's wonderful - appeals totally to my nerd instincts, and is making me wish my java skills were up to producing something so groovy!

I once knew a girl who called her dd Addy Blue.
It kind of suited her too!

hub2dee · 10/02/2005 16:54

tjgx, another one: Sapphira

If you are still looking, jjgx, how about Jett? (for a boy)

Dh works with a guy called Zeb. Can't remember his full name (it is not Zebidee!)

Sorry, but are you really gunner call your son gunner?

ElectricBlue · 22/02/2005 10:27

Maya
Kismet
Noah
Sky

TJ, I heard on telly that children with unusual names often do very well in life. People notice them more and their names stand out on their CV!

Hi everybody!

I'm 28+5 wks pg and found out at scan we are having another boy! Our DS is called Dylan and we need something that goes with that, decided on Bailey up to now but I would like something else as Bailey is one of the names we had chosen for Dylan! Will watch this thread with interest for further suggestions.

p.s. have chosen the name Elise for a girl just in case!!
