Ridiculous Amounts Discharge

Sorry for the gross thread, but I'm getting worried Confused

I'm 19+6 and for the last three days I've had ridiculous amounts of whiteish discharge that seems to come out in gushes - enough to soak a pad. It dries pale yellow, but is definitely milky white and slightly viscous when it comes out - like normal discharge. Smells like discharge, looks like discharge, theres just SO much of it. I was worried enough yesterday that I went to triage who did a swab for fluid, which was negative.

Could the swab have been wrong? Is this normal? Will I be wearing nappies by the third trimester??

(For full disclosure, I used a thrush pessary just before this started, but that was three days ago now and the discharge isn't chalky anymore - it was for the first day though.)

Wisdom massively appreciated Blush

Hi. Did you get this checked? I have been getting a lot of creamy white discharge. I'm not pregnant. I haven't had a period since November. Had an ultrasound yesterday, the results are in but waiting for GP to write them up. I'm now anxious that something is wrong.

Hi there,

Yes I did! It looks like it was the thrush all making its way out, which can take a surprisingly long time. Have you tried testing yourself for thrush/BV? Otherwise, GPs can take quite a while for results I find - usually if it's something serious you'll be told sooner rather than later, so don't worry unnecessarily.
