Is this feeling normal?

Hi I'm hoping someone can reassure me that my aches and pains are normal. I'm 6 weeks after IVF treatment and though I told myself everything would be OK and feel fine once we got that positive test, I'm still feeling really anxious. We have our first scan in 1 week.

So far I've had sore boobs and nausea, but today I've had some strange feelings in my stomach. It's not cramping as such, just a dull, weird feeling now and then. Kind of like the feeling you get when you know you've just started your period, just only 10% as intense (I can't think of another way to describe it). Is this normal at this point? There's no blood or discharge.

I may be over analysing but would love to hear anyone else's experience.

I've always felt crampy like I'm coming on my period in early pregnancy xx

It’s normal, I had the same sort of feelings

I’ve had two miscarriages. And bleeding started before cramping.

i am now pregnant with a baby growing fine and a heartbeat and since around 7 weeks I’ve had intermittent cramping. It’s apparently your uterus stretching and muscles loosening up

obviously no one can tell you it will be ok but if there is no bleeding then try and think it’s all ok x

I was convinced I was going to come on my period as I had that horrible dull feeling around that time..I'm 36+3 today!😆

Good luck op, the first trimester anxiety is the worst! Xx

With my first I had horrendous cramping, worse than period pains. She's now 3. I'm 20 weeks with my second and had the early cramping only it wasn't as bad. It's very normal, your uterus is stretching and getting ready for what's to come
