Pre-eclampsia induction 39 weeks

I am on the pre-eclampsia treatment pathway. My SFLT was 186 but changed to 118 3 days later. They are planning on inducing me at 39 weeks, I am 41.
I've had no issues with blood pressure and I've had norovirus in the last week and doctor said that could impact the score. If my score improves again would I be mad to ask to not be induced?
Anyone had any similar experiences

Honestly? I had my last dc aged 40 and no issues with bp (different story after the birth unfortunately and I ended up on labetalol for a few weeks postnatal when my bp rose very sharply shortly after delivery).

However, I was very aware of the increased stillbirth stats after 38wks and no I wouldn't have hesitated for a second to be induced if my bp had risen at 39 weeks.

I was scheduled to be induced on my due date but went into labour the day before - all very quick.

Good luck with whatever you go for, but you're so nearly there it's not worth taking chances with both of your health.

I had planned c-section at 37 weeks due to PE. I honestly just wouldn't risk delaying. Things change so quickly. Care is not optimum. You'd never forgive yourself if something happened.

I was only considering delaying as I was on the treatment pathway for preeclampsia. Events have taken a turn and I was diagnosed on Monday with jt and admitted so all out of my hands now being induced Saturday or sooner. I thought my liver function would improve which seemed to be what they were worried about as the trigger and it has, I had sickness bug and was sure that impacted liver but migraine type headache, swollen hands and high blood pressure all kicked in over the weekend.

Oh I've just seen this. I'm sorry you're feeling so poorly and hope all goes well and you're feeling better soon and enjoying newborn snuggles.
