im young so a prime age for pregnancy however even though i regularly don't use protection and am not on any birth control l've never been pregnant? i think i was maybe once and experienced a chemical pregnancy very very early but generally. im not actively trying but it is becoming a concern of mine can women get tested for infertility easily? i'm just concerned. i'm sti free and always have been so that's not a factor.

I was the same as you. I was with my partner since I was 19; we were quite reckless and never used protection. I never fell pregnant until I was 30. I now have a healthy, happy 7 year-old and currently pregnant with #2.

However, if you are worried at all, go and get checked. I was going to do the same and then found out I was having DS.

Wishing you the best x

There are only a couple of days a month when there's a good chance that you'll get pregnant. If you miss those you just won't get pregnant. So no reason to assume you're infertile.

I had the exact same worry, had been with my partner 7 years, we had been of the mindset if it happens it happens for a long time, but never even a scare. Then we actively started trying by using ovulation sticks and I monitored my temp and we got pregnant within 3 months, now have a healthy 9 month old and straightforward pregnancy. I am 33 so left it a bit later but as someone said above, there's a small window each month and timed right it can happen, which I hope it does for you when you are ready.

I was the same. My ex partner and I were completely reckless for years and we never had a mishap. I was also calculating the “safe” days for ovulation wrong. I didn’t realise sperm can survive for 5 days so we were doing it almost every single time during my fertile window and I never got pregnant. I don’t think he had issues as he has a daughter. Fast forward a couple of years, one misstep and I got pregnant immediately.

if you are concerned, you should get checked to ease your mind x
