hi, I’m 14 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I’ve been having a poking pain in my lower tummy today, mainly in the right side but I did feel it in both and at the same time too! I think I possibly felt it in my left side last week although not sure if it’s the same thing. from what I’ve read round ligament pain is a sharp or shooting pain and can take you by surprise and can be caused by sudden movement etc which mine hasn’t been. it wasn’t painful and it felt like poking diagonally on the sides of my lower tummy, more of an ache than a pain. It lasted between an hour or two pretty consistently but again it was ‘gentle’ and wasn’t when caused by movement or sneezing etc and happened while I was sat down or walking and was subtle. I know lots is happening at the moment and I will feel different things, I’m anxious and just wondered if anyone has had anything similar and if it’s something to be concerned about or if it sounds like round ligament pain? xx
