Hi I'm wondering if it's just my cat who likes to totally whizz around acting like a looney she likes to jump on me but because I'm 4 weeks pregnant I'm so cautious where as my 1 year old cat doesn't really bother with me it's more my partner. Has anyone got any tips on how to calm her down please

Cat tree or cat toys?

Cat tree or cat toys?

She has all them

I don't think a 6 month old cat jumping on you would cause damage to your baby - it's very low in your pelvis at this stage and very well protected / cushioned

However.. sorry I should have answered your question! Feliway has helped with our crazy Bengals

I very much misread your thread title for a moment there 😂

You can try a Feliway plug in to help calm her but it sounds like a normal kitten behaviour.
Try redirecting her behaviour with toys like a laser pointer or feathers on a dangly string.
Can alsobtry puzzle feeders to keep her distracted.
My cats are 9 now and they still run about like idiots. Its what cats are like.

I don’t think you need to change it! It’s obvious what it means, I just had to do a double take to get it (brain a little slow on the uptake today 😆)

Feliway is really good. I’m 13 weeks pregnant with my 3rd op, I have 2 kids and 3 cats climbing all over me all the time. I promise baby is absolutely fine and you have nothing to worry about. This time last year my big heavy cat would lie across my bump and baby would be kicking away. I carry that same baby who’s now 10 months old most of the day whilst 13 weeks pregnant. You’d be surprised how well cushioned baby is tucked away inside.
