I never really understood ovulation but I've conceived twice without tracking ovulation because I knew when I was ovulating by my symptoms but my last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage last year and I've conceived straight after currently 9 weeks I only had sex once in my fertile window and that was the night before I got my positive peak the following morning. They say it's best to have sperm waiting for the egg! It sounds like you have covered it to be honest, they'd definitely be swimmers waiting for the egg lol

When you see peak on your test it means ovulation happens within next days. If you combine testing with observing your body and paying attention to if you feel more aroused and have EWCM you have a good chance of succeeding. I stopped testing after a while as it was just giving me anxiety/frustration, and when I felt aroused and felt my EWCM I knew I was about to ovulate. From my own experience it's worth DTD a few days before the peak, when you see the peak and 1-2 days afterwards. Good luck.
