6 weeks today - cramping/pink mucus -

JOIN ME on my journey to figuring out pregnancy at 6 weeks.

now cramping is apparently very very normal. I’ve had it in and off the whole time. However the last couple of days it’s been a full period like ache, nothing painful just obviously there.

This morning I wiped and could tell I had pink (baby pink) cervical mucus. It’s calmed down now but there’s no doubt it was pink.

again, pink cervical mucus is said to be “normal” during pregnancy. Am I still worried though? Yes. It’s taken us 19 months to fall pregnant…. And I really don’t want this to end.

I have a 7 week scan booked for Sunday. I panicked and booked a 6 week +2 scan today. I know no one will recommend having a scan at 6 weeks because there’s a high chance it might not give me the answers I hope for, since it’s too early BUT it might do. People have scans at 6 weeks and can see a heartbeat, there’s a chance.

so I have that scan today at 3.30. I will update you. I will also update you on Saturday when I have my 7 week scan.

I have had one very normal healthy pregnancy and I have never miscarried before.

I am praying so hard that this baby is okay.

🤞 you got good news today! Personally I would cancel the Sunday scan and see if you can reschedule for a couple of weeks as there won’t be much of a difference to see.

I have on and off bleeding and spotting with my second pregnancy. It was completely different from my first and I had a lot of scans to make sure the baby was still there and developing okay. My little one is now almost a year old so not all bleeding and cramping is bad! Mind started at roughly 5 weeks and was on and off until 11 weeks.

Unfortunately they said it’s still too early to see anything. So, there really was nothing to go by. I thought I was 6 weeks going from my last period, but she think I’m more like 4 weeks.

if I went by my conception date I am 3 weeks 6 days.
