Period cycle

Good morning everyone. I’m just looking for reassurance really my menstrual cycle is 33 days or has been the last three months or so. I had unprotected sex 2 days after period is it possible to get pregnant that early on if my cycles 33 days? ovulation occurs around day 14 on a 28 day cycle so I thought ovulation would occur around cycle day 15 and ovulation being around 21st? on a 33 day cycle? Waiting to take a test 🫣

Hi OP, unfortunately everyone's very different so it's impossible to say unless tracking your ovulation. You're right that what you've described above is the average cycle timings but it's not a definite. Some women ovulate early, some late, regardless of the cycle length. Anything can happen. Only way to be sure is to test. Hope you get the answer you want from the test.

Haven’t tracked ovulation just gone off what my app says. If to say I did fell pregnant on the 2nd day after my period ie cycle day 8. Would ovulation stop?

Well it wouldn’t stop because you’d have already ovulated.

Honestly the liklehood is low but you never know, it all depends on when you ovulate. Sperm can stay inside for 5 days, why didn't you take the morning after pill?

The general response would be that it's very unlikely, however, I have heard of examples where women have fallen pregnant by having sex on their period, shortly afterwards or at any time during the cycle.

It's very rare but when you have unprotected sex, there's always a chance, especially if you weren't physically tracking.

I’m happy either way the outcome. I’m in my ovulation period now so I’m waiting another 2 weeks to test. I read that people with 21 day cycle seem ovulate soon after period
