can I trust the negative test

I’m currently 2 weeks late for my period, I had unprotected sex at the start of January and then again on the 20th and 22nd. I took a test when I was first late for my period but this was negative, it was a very cheap strip test and I did not use the first morning wee and had waited around 2 hours between the last time I had used the toilet and testing (I have a very weak bladder). This came up completely negative so I trusted it.

for the past week though I’ve had awful cramps worse than what I would when my period is due and I have felt like I’ve got the flu. Can I trust the negative test or should I buy another one and try again? I don’t want to keep buying tests if the negative is true

I would say take another test as you’re two weeks late now, if you get another negative then you know for sure you aren’t pregnant x

I would suggest a digital that will literally say pregnant or not pregnant

Test again now.
If your period still doesn’t come you will need to test again two weeks minimum after the last unprotected sex.
