We had DS quite easily, then tried for 2 years for DD.

Eventually fell pregnant after a HSG and clomid.

Now we're thinking about number 3

Anyone with secondary infertility, if you got pregnant and then tried for number 3, was it another slog?

I appreciate age can be a factor. I was 34 conceiving DD and am probably going to start trying at 38 (next birthday just around the corner).

I appreciate we may not get pregnant again, but I'm curious to know if most struggle to conceive again after secondary infertility.

We tried for 18 months with our first and ended up on a clomid to get pregnant. 2nd time I got pregnant after a couple of months.

Now, that's my kinda story!

I'd love it to happen fast. The 2 years of trying was a lot of heartbreak (especially given there was a missed miscarriage at the beginning).

I hated how it took over my life :(

We took ten months to conceive our first DC, and it felt much longer. When we decided to try for DC2 it happened straight away.

I have a friend who needed IVF to conceive her first two children. Due to this, they didn’t bother using contraception…and she conceived her third child without any medical assistance. 😂 They were happy but gobsmacked. Good luck, OP. 💐

Took us 4 years to have our first DC. 2nd got pregnant straight away and 3rd the same. We couldn’t believe it with our second 😂
