I just want to know if over reacting?

So I had my 20 week scan yesterday , we agreed he would take me and wait in the waiting room for me if we was unable to get childcare. The night before the scan he told me he didn't want to come and that I'd have to get a taxi as it's 'easier' I had to go all alone. He's only ever been to 1 scan with me and even then he wasn't so bothered about going. Background I have severe anxiety when it comes to scans as before we met I'd had multiple missed miscarriages.
He wasn't like this with our other 3 children , this is our first girl and he doesn't seem interested what so ever just constantly complaining about everything possible.

I'm thinking about sitting down with him to speak about it but every time I've done this in the past he makes it to be about him by turning it around on me. 😣

If you feel it you feel it. I personally wouldn’t be so bothered after the first scan, especially if we had the others to take care of. I don’t think we would lug our girls to sit in a car park or waiting area for something routine. However he probably shouldn’t have agreed to it in the first place if that’s how he feels? He probably just doesn’t see it as such a big deal 4th time around.

edit: doesn’t see the scan as such a big deal 4th time around, not the 4th pregnancy as a whole!

You're not overreacting. First child or third, it shouldn't matter, they're all as important and you and your body are going through a lot and should be supportive. You should definitely ask him why he's being so distant and seemingly disinterested.

He would sit outside. I see why he suggested the taxa.
