Trigger shot or positive?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are on the picture. The TWW is so tough! I had an hcg shot on transfer day (Zivafert 5000) on 24th Jan so I’m 9dp5dt and 9dp hcg shot. Do people think this could still be the hcg shot or do you think it is a real positive?

The trigger shot can give a positive for up to 14 days in some cases so, sorry to say, you will have to assume it’s that, unless you test every day until you get a negative and then get a positive.

Hi, thank you for replying. Yeah I know I can’t be sure. I was just wondering whether anyone had experience of taking Zivafert 5000 and the tests were lighter than this 9dp the injection. I also know sometimes the hcg doesn’t completely disappear before getting darker too which I hope is happening to me! Not long until beta which will be the only way to confirm!

I tested mine out and I was negative 4dp5dt and then got BFP 6dp5dt, it was light though! Without testing it out it’s impossible to be sure sadly though. Fingers crossed for you, TWW is treacherous!

Thank you so much for replying! Ah congratulations! This is giving me hope too! ❤️ I did sort of test it out (tried to) starting at 3dp5dt but the line never completely went away. I feel it was lightest 6dp5dt (below) and then got darker I think (wishful thinking!?) so I’m really hoping that’s a good sign!

The test in your original post is undoubtedly darker than the one you just replied with! Fingers crossed for you OP 😍 and thank you, she’s 12 weeks now!

yes i would say that's positive! my trigger shot was negative by 4dpt and i started to test positive on day 5

My trigger was out of my system by day 3 (though I don't remember dose) so I'd be tentatively optimistic

I think it's highly unlikely that's the trigger - I'd take it as a positive 😀

It looks too dark to a line to be a trigger. I’d test every day to see if it stays the same/darkens. In a couple of days you’ll know for sure!

Thank you so much everyone! This was a positive! My betas were: 10dp5dt- 276 and 12dp5dt- 806 ❤️ fingers crossed it keeps heading in the right direction!
