Just reaching out.
2 weeks ago 19th Jan I had symptoms of a uti and went to hospital. I was 24 weeks urine sample taken and protein was 2+ along with blood and white blood cells so put down as infection. Blood pressure normal and infection markers were slightly elevated.
Doctors wanted kidney function test at next midwife appointment and repeat urine sample because the protein was high and I also have Sjögren’s syndrome and Hashimotos.
Sent home with antibiotics.

Today 2 weeks later went midwife appointment and protein still in urine but 2++ didn’t say about any other things in there and said she would send it to lab.
Blood pressure low but but not high.
Took kidney function test bloods.

Midwife didn’t seem to give me the impression that she knew much about the protein side of things..
Phoned up the ward triage to ask about my previous stuff and why is my protein still high or higher but didn’t get a lot from the woman on the phone.

just wondered if I should be seen or assessed
