Very pale Pink discharge after sex 7/8weeks

Help I'm freaking out... had sex early hours of this morning and had some very pale pink discharge when I wiped after and a bit more just now three hours later.
Now reality is telling me it's probably because my cervix is sensitive at the moment but anxiety is preparing me to start bleeding and miscarrying.
I had a private scan last week and all was well with heartbeat present but now I'm worrying again and thinking should I book another scan?!

Probably implantation bleeding? I wouldn't worry too much but maybe lay off the sex for a few weeks, your cervix is probably just a bit sensitive for the moment. 7/8 weeks is still very early, and a bit of spotting is generally classed as normal.

The first thing an EPU will ask if you contact them with bleeding in pregnancy is whether you've just had sex. As you know, it's incredibly easy to irritate the cervix when having sex in pregnancy which can lead to tiny, tiny harmless amounts of blood in discharge.

If it doesn't get any worse than pink tinged discharge, there is almost certainly nothing to worry about. I would sit tight for now and try not to worry. Contact the EPU if you have heavier bleeding.

I think sometimes old blood is up there and the act of intercourse can knock it out. I have had this throughout my pregnancies and been told it was normal. But I always went and got checked out so that's what I would recommend.
