Ultrasound Direct vs NHS Hospital Machine?

Hi!
I've had a bizarre scanning experience and would appreciate any experiences with scan discrepancies please. Have you had an early pregnancy scan at Ultrasound Direct and also NHS?

I had 2 scans on the same day (reasons below) and the difference is huge. I don't know which machine is better.

Before we get into the early scan debate.. I have valid reasons that I needed them. I'm now in the limbo waiting period and the reason for posting is that I'm driven crazy.

2 weeks ago:
Had a private scan and she wasn't sure if it was 4 week sac or ectopic. Referred to hospital, not ectopic.

2 weeks later (this Wednesday):
Went back for follow-up. I should be 7 weeks 2.
Said 5 weeks 0 exactly. Yolk and fetal pole.
CRL 1.7mm
Referred to hospital for medical management that afternoon.

That afternoon:
NHS hospital scanner measured 6 weeks 1.
Yolk, pole, no heartbeat yet, CRL: 3mm

One is hopeful-ish. One is not. Which would you believe?
Lots online about private being better... EPU told me their machines are better though xx

Unfortunately sometimes the only answer is to wait and see what nature does. Nothing against early scans, I had them in all my pregnancies, but sometimes they just don't have a definitive answer. Flowers Best of luck, I hope you get good news.

I have also had early scans in both pregnancies and understand why women want to have them but I think having a mix of private and NHS was a mistake.

Nobody here can tell you which machine is better or which measurements are more accurate. You are just going to have to wait it out I'm afraid

Thanks everyone.
@sel2223 undoubtedly I'll need to wait it out... I think mumsnet is set up as a forum for support for us. So, whilst I wait.. I appreciate that female support and discussion.

Of course, it's a great place for support and I've reached out many times myself. You asked which machine to believe though and my response was that nobody on here can tell you that unfortunately which is true.

My first early scan in this pregnancy I should have been 8+2 going by LMP and i only measured 6+1 so I have been there and had the awful 2 week wait too.
I'm now 32 weeks.
