My c section is today! Ahhhh! Nervous scared and excited!
ive had about 1 or 2 hours sleep. Did anyone else get no sleep before their c section? Im sure if I was having an induction I wouldn’t have slept for days right?! (twins!)
It was literally impossible to drift off. When will I sleep again? 😂

Im feeling sick with the no sleep & not being able to eat anything! I hope I go down first so I can have the famous hospital toast lol!

Cant wait to meet my babies! 🥰

How exciting!! I didn't sleep the night before both of my C-Sections. Not going to lie, I was beyond exhausted.. luckily my slot was booked for midday so when I checked in at 6am on the ward I did snooze for a little beforehand. Good Luck and congratulations on your Babies ❤️

I had my twin c section after 36 hours of failed induction and slow labour. I was so tired I had no idea what was going on Blush

I've just had a section yesterday and didn't sleep too well before and not much last night in hospital but I don't feel too bad think you just run on adrenaline and sleep when you get home. With my first I had long labour and then section after being awake for nearly 2 days!

Good luck!

Good luck, I've got mine tomorrow 😀 not sleeping much at all this week. How exciting! X

Aww all the best for you! How exciting! Do you know what you are having or a surprise?

Nearlyadoctor · 30/01/2025 06:58

Good luck - such an exciting time for you. As Pp said you’ll run on adrenaline ❤️

tattoonewbie · 30/01/2025 07:00

Oh this is lovely excited news to wake up to aside from the sleep lack. You'll power through am sure. And what a reason for lack of sleep! I slept badly but only a day at the office for me!

Fipfop · 30/01/2025 07:13

I was having contractions every 7 minutes the night before my c section so definitely no sleep! I managed to catch up after the c section while dad was holding baby. Good luck 😊

Excitedly place marking for the happy news later!

Good luck OP, when I had my section I hadn't slept for about 60 hours! (Slow painful labour) and then didn't sleep for a few days after, you definitely run on adrenalin! Enjoy all the cuddles when they are here 🥰

I didn't sleep at all before mine, or the following night on the ward. It was fine, adrenaline sort of carries you through for the first couple of days. I crashed out as soon as I got home and had the best nap ever!
