I know I shouldn’t compare myself to other women online but, it seems most are feeling sick and tired by this point and I’m not. Maybe slightly more sleepy.

my first pregnancy was near 4 years ago, so I can’t remember what it was like for me then.

anyway some reassurance would be great. Worrying that somethings wrong.

I’m 5 weeks too and wouldn’t know any different if I didn’t have a positive test. In fact the symptoms I do have feel more like pms (slightly sore breasts and period like cramps) I’m just telling myself every pregnancy and everybody is different. My last successful pregnancy was 12 years ago and I had terrible morning sickness so I think I’d rather not have symptoms than that again x

sel2223 · 29/01/2025 18:55

First pregnancy I had no symptoms at all until 7 weeks.

Second pregnancy they started with a vengeance around 5.5 weeks.

My mum had 4 kids and never had any major symptoms with any of us

sleepandcoffee · 29/01/2025 19:12

7 weeks was when the awful symptoms arrived for me so give it time and enjoy the next week or so !

cherrybl0ssom5 · 29/01/2025 20:41

I didn’t really have any symptoms until around 7/8 weeks, everyone’s different though & they were horrid. You’re still really early, give it some time!

pimplebum · 29/01/2025 20:43

I never felt anything
absolutely nothing until Baby kicked
ask for a reassurance scan if worried but

YouveGotAFastCar · 29/01/2025 20:45

I’m 32 weeks pregnant and don’t feel any different, I didn’t last time either.

SarahLHs · 29/01/2025 20:51

My symptoms started bang on 7 weeks with both my pregnancies

Iyellalot92 · 29/01/2025 20:59

I had no symptoms until just after 7 week, then it hit me like a ton of bricks 😅. Finally back to feeling ok ish apart from the tiredness, im 11 weeks now

2welshmums · 29/01/2025 21:04

My symptoms started at 7 weeks exactly, I was away on a cruise and the nausea and vomiting kicked in, as well as exhaustion and severe food aversions 😷

You may not get any symptoms, or you may well. Each person is different.

InfoSecInTheCity · 29/01/2025 21:14

I had zero symptoms, honestly wouldn't have known I was pregnant until I started feeling kicks around 20ish weeks if it weren't for periods stopping.

Sleepy is still a symptom :) my friend was 4.5 months pregnant before she found out!

I'm 5wks 2days today! I'm the same, I had sore breasts, bloating, heartburn and extreme exhaustion last week, but it all went.
1st pregnancy was 2020 and nausea, vomiting, heartburn was insane by week 5.
MMC exactly a year a ago and it started like this, loss of symptoms
I'm so worried
But booked early scan for week 7. Nothing else I can do
Enjoy no symptoms for now, maybe they will come back with a vengeance

It's still early, mostly symptoms kick in around 6 to 7 weeks, and book in an early scan for next week if that's an option for you

TRUST me it's a blessing now having the sickness!!! I had it with all 4 of my pregnancies and ALL the way through it was bloody horrendous! 🤣 mine also started at about 6 weeks too then never stopped til I gave birth. Don't think too much into it just because you're not getting the nasty side effects of pregnancy some women are lucky and glow when they are pregnant! Me on the other hand 🤣 yeahhhhhh.... 🙈

Sunshiiine · 30/01/2025 09:18

I had no symptoms with my second until 6 weeks.

Shynslk · 30/01/2025 12:17

I had no symptoms until my 6th week. I thought pregnancy was going really easy and I'd be one of those lucky ones with no morning sickness. Then one day I was hugging the toilet for about 10 minutes feeling absolutely awful, had to take a while off work because it wasn't until my 8th week I started to feel a bit better. Symptoms are off and on now at 10 weeks, but it did scare me at 7 or 8 weeks when I suddenly felt perfectly fine one day, no symptoms at all, because I heard it's not until the 12th week you start to feel better. Of course, the next day I was ill again, but hopefully it all goes fine for us!

Strawb28 · 30/01/2025 14:59

I could have wrote this myself! I should know that it's normal because I had no symptoms at all with my little girl until 6 weeks and 1 day when the horrible sickness started. I just find this part of pregnancy so scary (the not knowing) going it book an early scan for next Friday where I'll be 6 weeks and 4 days just to make sure they are in the right place and hopefully see a wee heartbeat!
