Hi. So I've had 4 very early miscarriages. So I had a scan on 23rd after a positive test that day saying 1-2 (3-4) weeks. They took a while but eventually found a gestational sack measuring 5 weeks exactly. Then the next day (24th) the hospital scanned me and couldn't find a sack so took bloods and my hcg was 147. I then had a further scan on Monday 27th where they found a sac measuring 4+5 and had bloods again that day that had gone up to 384. Then had another scan today after wiping and finding some very light blood, and they couldn't find a sac at all. All of the scans were private except the one hospital one but all at different places, could it be the different scanners? Or am I having another loss. I have an appointment Friday at the hospital but I'm just so anxious.

So is this right...

23rd - possibly you were approx 4 weeks (Clear Blue digital? If so they're not accurate enough to base anything on.)
23rd - private scan said you were 5 weeks
24th - NHS scan finds nothing.
27th - private scan measures 4+5
29th - private scan finds nothing

If that's right, then my answer is you can't possibly know either way at this stage. Very early scans are notoriously easy to miss a pregnancy on, and difficult to get an accurate measurement even if they find anything.
Did you confirm ovulation with temping? If not you can't know how far along you are and whether the HCG is correct for that gestation. The fact that it more than doubled in three days is positive.

Sorry, but I don't know if you are going to get any answers here. You will have to wait until your next appointment, but even that may not be conclusive. It's tough to wait though I know.

Yes that's right. According to my last period, (first day 1/12/24)
I should be around 8 weeks. I'm happy the hcg is going up but that was before the little bit of blood was found worried now it'll decrease.

The lady doing my scan today really searched, so much is hurt. Surely if the other two scans found the sac ( the second scan found it much quicker)
Then this scan should be able to ...

The wait is the worse.

Well if you are supposed to be 8 weeks then most likely you ovulated much later than CD14, but if you don't track you can't know.
It sounds very possible you have had a miscarriage, yes. But because there is hardly any time between the scans it also possible that sonographer skill/luck is in play here. Getting so many scans is not conducive to good mental health OP, but I'm sure you know that.
All the best, and hope it works out.
