I’m 12 weeks pregnant. Last week I broke out in a rash, followed by the onset of reactive arthritis. I was incredibly unwell towards the end of last week but mostly experiencing fatigue now. GP said it was likely a viral infection and sent away some bloods etc. I had a private scan last week and my NHS scan on Monday- both were fine.
Today my GP surgery called to ask me to come in tomorrow to get seen and told me I have B19/Parvovirus. I’ve been googling this and im so so worried. What can I expect? Will I be able to have further scans to keep an eye on baby? Should I see someone from obstetrics? I had two losses last year and this has just increased my anxiety tenfold.
