Hello if I want to dye my hair a dark brown colour at the salon is this safe to do so ?

Yes it's safe to dye your hair in pregnancy. Skin can become more sensitive in pregnancy so just consider that, some women get a new patch test done to make sure of no sensitivity. But safe from a pregnancy standpoint. Congrats!

I've dyed my hair throughout pregnancy so far. 21 weeks with a very active baby currently. I've found that whenever I've Googled things I can and I can't do, a lot of American sites come up which are cautious to the extreme. For example, I also get my nails done every month and US websites advise against this too. But then I reasoned that the US is known for its lawsuit culture and lack of affordable healthcare, which is probably why mums to be are encouraged to be as risk averse as possible!
