Have a day in London on Friday and would like to find a Gap fairly centrally that does maternity..can't find a list of stockists - can anyone help me?

Does the big Oxford Street one do maternity?

m&S also do maternity - ltd collection i think, which is quite nice

pretty sure the oxford street one does, could you phone them?

also there's a huge mamas and papas at the top of regent street. and on the other corner, the top shop maternity bit.

Big Oxford Street-near Selfridges
High St Kensington
kings Road

Am popping into my local gap in a few minutes- they have a card with all of them on it so if none of these suit I can let you know some more later...

Best maternity clothes i ever bought btw

hattyyellow · 07/05/2008 09:52

Thank you so much! Oxford Street fits in perfectly - I am coveting their maternity jeans after seeing a friend in hers and we can't get them oop North!

at the far end (marble arch) is the big M&S that does maternity wear. not sure which H&M does it now, the big one at marble arch closed i think..

hifi · 07/05/2008 10:16

hattyyellow · 07/05/2008 11:05

Essie3 · 07/05/2008 11:14

Yeah, is the sale still on? Was thinking of popping up there today. Will see a crowd of you lot there, I think!

hattyyellow · 07/05/2008 11:33

Ooh might have to try the big H&M as well - that sounds great - I lived in their vest tops last time around

Both the Gap in Oxford St and the one in Knightsbridge do maternity wear, there jeans are good but quite heavy for the weather we are having at the moment!

AHLH · 07/05/2008 12:53

Hattyyellow - Where oop North are you? Gap on Briggate in Leeds do maternity wear now. It's fab, and will save me from a summer of florals and black linen,!

Don't forget Top Shop at Oxford Circus also has a mini dedicated maternity store on the ground floor at the back.

CountessDracula · 07/05/2008 12:58

I noticed Kew Retail park Gap stock these the toher day

browncat · 07/05/2008 13:04

have just been in Gap on Oxford Street- its brilliant- they have got loads of Mat stuff and on SALE too- I just got some trousers and a lovely top for less than £15 in total- bargain!!!!!!

lollipopmother · 07/05/2008 13:26

Lucky git, I went to the Gap on Oxford St after work on Friday and couldn't find anything I liked, I tried on three dresses and they all aged me about 30 years it was horrible .

TheDevilWearsPenneys · 07/05/2008 13:27

H&M maternity is good too, also on Oxford street.

artichokes · 07/05/2008 13:29

I heart Top Shop maternity on Oxford Street.

pregnancy1 · 07/05/2008 14:09

Yes, Gap at Oxford Circus does loads, as does the H&M Regent St (Oxford St didn't do them when I went about a month ago, but they were extending). Top Shop at Oxford Circus.
Don't bother with the M&S at Marble Arch(world's smallest selection & no good if you don't do sports wear)or John Lewis or Selfridges. Debenhams have a tiny selection (Red Herring). I also found a small selection at Zara, but H&M has been the best for me.
Good luck!

Cheers all !

And if you've got any energy left...

  • Dorothy Perkins at Bond Street stn
  • New Look flagship store at Marble Arch
  • Mammas & Pappas on Regent Street

But Gap and Topshop are the best

What do pregant women who don't live in the capital wear?

AHLH · 08/05/2008 16:50

jessjess3908 We wear whatever we can get our hands on! There's not a lot about, but fortunately the Mamas and Papas factory shop is only a 20 min drive from me ! And we do have shops as in London in Leeds and Sheffield, but I don't think they are as well stocked as the London ones though.

hattyyellow · 08/05/2008 20:09

Thanks so much all - am feeling quite tired just thinking about it all!

  • New Look flagship store at Marble Arch

Have just been here and for some bizarre reason they couldn't explain they didn't stock their maternity range.

However the Dotty P by Bond Street had quite a lot in.
