Hi,

Are you allowed the drink the above while pregnant? I know paracetamol is ok in pregnancy but unsure on the other ingredients. Thanks in advance

Which one is it?
If it has decongestant in it then you shouldnt take it in pregnancy

@dementedpixie on the front of the sachet it says paracetamol, phenylephrine and hydrochloride, checked the back and only other ingredients mentioned are sucrose, aspartame and vitamin C, no mention of decongestant. So would this be ok? :)

Phenlyephrine is a decongestant.

dementedpixie · 28/01/2025 18:42

No, as the phenylephrine is the decongestant

You could make a hot honey and lemon drink and take it alongside a couple of paracetamol

@dementedpixie oh I see! Thank you for explaining. I have both honey and lemon though so I will stick to the natural remedy and make myself one of these :)
