Spotting and reduction of symptoms (warning picture)

I posted something similar about 2 weeks ago when I was 7+4 as I started spotting then and noticed a drop in symptoms, I had a scan at epau at 7+6 and all was well. I’m currently on progesterone which I was taking vaginally however switched to rectally after this (on this due to previous miscarriages). They offered me a check with the doctor to see if my cervix was irritated which I declined (regretting this now as it could have given more reassurance). The spotting stopped for about a week then came back again on and off. It’s always been like how it is in the picture, sometimes there are 3-4 spots similar size. I rang epau when it started again and because I haven’t got pain and it’s not got heavier they wouldn’t have recommended me coming back in earlier, I have another routine scan appointment with them on Thursday morning as I’m offered extra scans as standard for recurrent miscarriage. I’ve also noticed another slight dip in my symptoms although they are still there on a morning and night, I don’t know if this could just be because I’m anxious as this also happened 2 weeks ago? My symptoms last week at 8 weeks after the scan were quite bad.
I know no one can tell me with certainty what’s going on until I go on Thursday, but has anyone ever had anything similar and similar levels of spotting, if so how did it turn out? Both positive and negative outcomes as I want to be realistic. FYI the image is cropped so quite zoomed in.

spotting in early pregnancy is really normal and quite common, society has just led us to believe you get pregnant and have no bleeding or spotting and if you do, it always is bad news. for what it's worth, it isn't always bad. I had bright red period like bleeding for three days when I first got a positive test, then three more episodes of bright red bleeding (way more than pictured - I was just sitting on the toilet and needed a pad), and lots of brown spotting all before 10 weeks when it all stopped. delivered a healthy boy at 40+2. I hope your scan goes ok. x

@Sagittarius25 thanks for this, did they ever find what caused your bleeding? They couldn’t see anything on my last scan for mine, obviously things could have changed since then I’ll see on Thursday.

@Notsure31 I ended up in early pregnancy unit around 8/9 weeks with more bleeding and they said it was likely sub chorionic hematoma (basically blood gets trapped between the womb lining and sac and sometimes comes away) they usually completely reabsorb by 12 weeks and mine did, no bleeding or spotting after 10 weeks and nothing to see on 12 week scan
