So I tested on Friday and got a positive test (pic attached).

I will be 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow.

I have absolutely no symptoms and feel completely normal!

Can anyone reassure me? Xx

I've never had symptoms that early.

First pregnancy I had nothing until 7 weeks, second pregnancy it was about 5.5 weeks.

My mum had 4 kids and never had any symptoms with any of us

I have three friends who had zero symptoms in their first and most of second trimester and all have healthy babies/children now. So for some lucky people that is the case.

Also 5 weeks is still early. With my DS I didn’t really have any until 6ish weeks. I was on holiday and felt great. I didn’t start getting sickness until 7 weeks and it lasted until 14 weeks. (I did have tiredness from about 6weeks though).

This time my sickness started from 4 weeks and I have had other symptoms too.

My point is that it can vary from person to person, and also even between pregnancies for the same person.

Congratulations. Unless you see signs of bleeding/pain then just assume it’s going as it needs to and you might be that lucky person. 5 weeks is still early though to say if you will have symptoms or not.

I’m also five weeks tomorrow! I have slightly sore boobs and that only started two days ago. I feel tired, but I have a toddler so that’s just the status quo for me anyway. Otherwise I just don’t feel pregnant yet. Can’t remember when I started getting nausea with DD but think it was maybe at 6 weeks. Nothing to worry about. Each pregnancy is different. A few weeks from now you might think back to this post and kick yourself for worrying through constant sickness and nausea 🤣

I didn’t have any until around 7/8 weeks with first, couple of weeks later with second.

Congratulations.

Symptoms hit at about 6 weeks with my first pregnancy. Took until about 8 weeks with my second (I remember feeling worried and making a thread on here for reassurance). I felt my third very early (despite turning out to be a chemical pregnancy - the only reason I tested so early and knew about being pregnant at all was feeling "off"/nauseous) and also felt my fourth similarly early (nausea hit me really hard compared to the others).

Just goes to show that every pregnancy is different... and symptoms mean very little in terms of whether or not it's a successful pregnancy. I'd honestly just enjoy the moment and view having few/if any symptoms at this point in time as a positive thing (which it definitely is)!

This time last year I had no idea I was pregnant. I didn’t know until 1st February! My little boy was born 39+5 on 24th September and he’s amazing

I had no symptoms until the 6th week then it hit me like a ton of bricks. From about the start of the 8th week my symptoms would be on and off, fine one day and sick the next. 10 weeks now and it's basically still like that, I'll be fine for a few days then I'll feel sick for the other days. Completely worried me as well, though, when I felt perfectly fine one day in my 7th week, but it didn't last too long for me!
