Testing negative but feel pregnant

Just wondering if anyone could give me their opinion and help my de-code my situation please as I don’t know if I’m just being silly and ridiculous.

We are TTC, we had sex on Christmas Day 2024 which was during my ovulation period. When it came to my period being due (8th January 2025), it came on time but it was very very light and only lasted 2 days so I questioned whether it was even a period. I took 2 tests after this (boots hCG strip tests) and they were negative.

I accepted the fact I wasn’t pregnant, however I haven’t ovulated this month (it was meant to be 22nd January ish.) This is really rare for me, I’m really good at tracking ovulation (through the strips, they’re always positive when they should be), and I get ovulation pain so badly I know exactly when it is each month. I’m wondering if the reason I didn’t ovulate is because I’m actually pregnant. I took another test yesterday (another boots strip) and again, negative. I have really sore boobs and constant period pain.

Am I being ridiculous or is there a chance I could still be pregnant? If I calculated correctly I would be around 6 weeks by now I think, has anyone ever gone that long with negative tests, but actually turned out to be pregnant?

I didn't show as pregnant with my first until I was approx 9 weeks.

I had something funny like this when TTC my second- late period that was really long then my next period was about 2 weeks late too, I think I had a chemical pregnancy which threw my cycle out. Never had anything like that before or after and I'm usually regular.

To be totally honest, I think our bodies start playing some cruel tricks on us when TTC.
I had late periods where I swear I had every early pregnancy symptom going but I was never pregnant.
The 2 times I have actually been pregnant I've written the month off as felt like any other month and just expected AF to arrive any day

I had a friend who NEVER showed positive on her urine bhcg even when 30 weeks. She needed blood bhcg every time

I just knew I was pregnant even when mine came up negative the day my period was due.. I re took a test less than a week later and it showed positive.
