I'm 8 days late and TTC, I had a very faint positive a week ago but out of the test window so think it may have been an evaporation line.
Before my period was due, I had a little bit of brown discharge when I wiped. Not normal for me and was not spotting. I expected my period after this but it never came.
I've been having cramping and pulling feelings, lower back ache which I don't usually get as a period symptom. Felt a bit nauseous one day too and had the craziest dream last night.
I've taken a range of pregnancy tests and they've all come back negative apart from the one I mentioned earlier. These include ultra early and a digital one I did today.
I really don't know what to think. I've been regular and can't think why I have missed a period. I took an ovulation test today and had a faint second line, not sure if that means it's negative?
There's twins in my family and triplets, I've heard you can get a hook effect with tests which can give a false negative if you're carrying multiples.
How long has it taken for people to get a positive test? Do you think I should see my doctor and get a blood test? Thanks
