5w3d but still only reading 2-3w on Clearblue.. help!

I’m 5w3d (IVF FET pregnancy so dates should be accurate) and I’ve tested first thing in the morning the last two days but I’m still only getting 2-3 weeks on clear blue indicator. My hcg was 519 six days ago so if it’s doubling every 48hrs then it should be over 4000 by now. Which should definitely be 3+!

I have fatigue and back ache but no real nausea or other symptoms. I had a previous ectopic so I’m worried about that or a MC. Has anyone had a similar experience, positive or otherwise..?

Also an IVF FET pregnancy here 👋 I didn't get the 3+ by a bit over 5 weeks and I just decided to stop testing for my sanity. 7 and 10 week scans all good (and actually measuring ahead for both!), now 11 weeks 😊 I had read a lot of posts about people never getting the 3+ or getting it very 'late' and it being completely fine. I think those tests need to be taken with a pinch of salt!

I wasn’t ivf but was tracking ovulation and got bfp very early at 9dpo, at 5+4 I was still getting 2-3 and it sent me into a meltdown. I then had a scan a few days later and baby had a heartbeat flickering. Do you have a scan coming up? Maybe see if you can get a hcg blood draw 48 hrs apart if you’re worried otherwise?

Thanks for your reply @Notsure31 I have my 6 week scan booked for Thursday. I may ask the clinic for a repeat HCG given the previous ectopic but I’m not sure what they’ll say!

Thanks for posting this @Toffee25 I am supposedly 5+5 today and only got 1-2 weeks on my CB this morning. I got my first positive a week ago and it was 1-2 weeks then so feeling very unsure. Only my second pregnancy after a MMC with no bleeding or symptoms last July. Keep us posted if you can, hoping and hoping we all get a good outcome.

Oh those estimator tests are an expensive con. I only got 2-3 weeks when an actual HCG draw put my levels at over 20,000!! I had a proper panic about it but all was well. Please ignore them x

Throughout this whole pregnancy so far I've not had the strongest symptoms to be honest. I've had cramps on and off, nausea in the morning that peaked around 6 ish weeks (but never fully been sick), fatigue etc. More recently in the last week I've had headaches. But yeah compared to some people my symptoms have seemed pretty mild. I worried about the strength of my symptoms and slight loss of them around 8 weeks but so far so good 🤞 how are you feeling about it all?

Hey just as an update from a few days ago. I went for a scan and for me it sadly turned out an empty gestational sac so it was a bit of an early red flag on the CB. But I agree lots of times it will just be a reading error.

I'm sorry to hear your news @Toffee25 I hope you have support and are able to take some time for yourself.
I started bleeding heavily on Tuesday afternoon with bad cramps. It's settled into a light flow now so I'm pretty sure I've miscarried. I've got a scan at EPU on Monday morning to check everything has come away. The CB test wasn't wrong in my case.
