How can I work out how much of this will be taxed? I feel quite stressed about how much money I’m going to have and how we will cope, as I am the breadwinner.

It is all technically taxable, but if all you receceive only SMP and nothing else then after the first 6 weeks which is at 90% you then don’t end up paying any tax on the remaining 33 weeks at £184 because it is below the threshold.
