Hi ladies šŸ‘‹šŸ½ I’m currently 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant, I tested positive on easy @ home pregnancy tests 19/01/25 and my tests have stayed exactly the same with no progress since (4 days later, they’re not darker). I took a clear blue digital last night and it was positive. I’m feeling really anxious as I had an early miscarriage at 4 weeks 5 days in October just gone, my tests were definitely lighter back then and my digital said not pregnant. Do you think it could be the tests that aren’t picking up much color? Am I being too paranoid? I really want this baby 😢

Hi, congratulations! are the strips FMU?

They do look faint, but it's still quite early.

Your HCG should double every 48 hours so maybe leave it a few days and test again?

I found the 'weeks indicator tests' helpful as you can see progression. When I had a ectopic mine didn't progress each week so I knew something wasn't right

I know it's a real thing on MN but I didn't find the line progression thing helpful. I was so worried with my first but she was totally fine.. then had good line progression with my next pregnancy and that ended in a MC, my hCG on bloods was still rising as normal. It took quite a few weeks to get a negative test.

This pregnancy I got a faint line on a cheapie, tested again with a FRER the next morning and then did a digital to confirm. That's it.. the tests are meant to be binary - yes / no and even the digital with weeks indicators have issues.

If you are testing regularly, give it at least 48 hrs so the hCG levels have a chance to rise but honestly.. I'd step away from the tests.
