Bleeding after internal ultrasound and heartbeat seen

Hi Everyone, please don’t read and run
so I have a history of miscarriages 7!
so New Year’s Eve I found out I was pregnant since then I’ve had really sore breasts but no sickness 2 days ago I started spotting brown when wiping and one streak of red I paid for a private scan to reassure myself and baby was seen with a heart beat right on 6 weeks 2 days where I should be I was so so happy but then an hour later I have started bleeding red and it hasn’t really stopped lighter but then a bit heavier again. Now I don’t know what to think anyone else has this? It was internal so unsure if that’s caused the bleeding? Or if it’s something worse this was all yesterday and today still bleeding

I know I saw baby’s heartbeat again yesterday but this constant bleeding is terrifying xx

How are the cramps, have they settled down? Hang on in there, keeping everything crossed for you, I know it's scary :(

No more cramps babe but so much blood I know a saw a heart beat yesterday but I think I’m going to lose the baby 😔 xx

No cramping is good...
Try and relax. Ttc is an absolute minefield

Have you been able to get the progesterone yet? It might stop fairly quickly after you use it

Hello. With my first I bled after an internal scan. Everyone kept telling me it wasn't caused by the scanning but I'm still convinced it was. The worst part was that because I'd just had a scan (12 week) there was nothing they could do... because all they'd do is scan again. Same baby is now 3 and very healthy. Hoping the same for you!

Hi hun I am so worried even though I saw a heartbeat the blood is like a full on period today 😢

They haven’t rang me to say it’s ready to collect yet and aren’t answering the phone when I call so annoying! Xx

Hi hun how much bleeding was it? I know I asked yesterday and she said that the scan wouldn’t cause the bleeding which made me feel worse! Xx

Sending you lots of good wishes. I have had bleeding in all 4 pregnancies. The first 3 miscarried the last one stuck. No difference in the level of bleeding.

I'd not wait two weeks, I didn't think I physically could. Wait for the bleeding to slow/stop and go for a private scan if you can. You can always ask them to do it on your belly rather than internal, I know you don't get the best look that early but it's usually possible to see what you need to see without having to do an internal.

I have now passed a big clot bigger than a 2 pound coin anyone else have this?

I’m so sorry you’re having such an anxious time of it. The amount of blood you can pass feels so insane. But I’m on the other side of this and currently watching my toddler nap. It is possible.

Can you try and keep busy? Is there anything you like to do to pass the time?

@Waitingformyrainbowx it was a fair amount. I had to wear a pad, it wasn't the kind of blood you can just wipe away.

@Waitingformyrainbowx was the scan internal or external? If they couldn’t see any bleeding on the scan hopefully your cervix is just irritated xx

I’ve lost the baby scanned me again and it’s gone xx

@Waitingformyrainbowx I'm so sorry 😭 that's rubbish. Take some time to heal. I know you've been down this road before but if you can push to be seen by recurrent miscarriage clinic, they might be able to help. Thinking of you xxxx
