Ovulating 4 days early

Hello everyone, I started trying for a baby a couple of months ago.
Last month I tracked my ovulation with test strips. The line got darker over a few days but I never got a really strong line.

I just tested today for this cycle and I got a very strong line - the same colour as the control line.
However, according to my period tracking app, I'm not due to ovulate for another 4 days.

Does this mean I'm ovulating now? I never got pregnant last month so maybe I missed my actual ovulation window.

I don’t trust the apps, I would always use the ovulation test strips. If the test line is as dark as the control line now, then it would be a pretty sure sign that you will be ovulating in the next 12-24 hours.

When trying to get pregnant my ovulation day could vary from cycle day 12/13 to day 17 or 18 (based on tests and symptoms). Apps aren't the most accurate. It's quite normal to have some variation 😊
