Missed period

Hiya

Just some advice I started my period 10th December roughly lasted 7-8 days, last had intercourse with my partner 4th Jan no protection or anything and now I am late for my period I have done a test but I left the urine so I'm not sure if I made it invalid any advice is there still a chance? I've been extremely tired, terrible back ache I've had, been super cold flu like symptoms so not sure

Take another test in the morning first thing, that's when your hcg levels are at their strongest therefore more likely to be accurate and don't leave it too long :)
