I'd get some medical advice and call EPU x

BlondeMamaToBe · 21/01/2025 16:57

Have you contacted your midwife/EPU?

I haven’t taken a test but I haven’t had a period since the end of November, bur that didn’t dawn on me until earlier after I passed it, if I’m honest my life is sooo busy I have 5 children one of which is a toddler, I’ve been spotting since Friday like it started of brown and then it’s got heavier and heavier and then I had the worst backache yesterday and all night a horrific belly ache, and then just before I passed it I had like contraction pain and had to squeeze it out but since it’s come out the bleeding has got heavier

You need to get a pregnancy test now to check for HCG in your system. If it's negative then you'll know it's a decidual cast.

If it is a pregnancy, I'm very sorry you've had to deal with this xx

MyUmberSeal · 21/01/2025 18:51

Agree with the above. Take a test asap, if you're pregnant or miscarried, the test will obviously be positive. If it’s positive contact your maternity unit as soon as you can.

WhatMe123 · 21/01/2025 19:12

Defo sounds like a miscarriage then op

reichs79 · 21/01/2025 19:19

I had a decidual cast many years ago and mine looked like this. The emergency gp told me to bin it and referred me to hospital. The hospital asked to see it to look at it under the microscope and said it was uterine lining.

reichs79 · 21/01/2025 19:20

Just read your update. As you were late for your period you need to do a pregnancy test x

MrsMummy00 · 21/01/2025 20:36

Taken a test and it’s positive so just confirmed what I already knew , thank you guys I’m gonna go see the gp asap in the Morning x

MyUmberSeal · 21/01/2025 21:05

Sorry to hear that @MrsMummy00. Look after yourself. X

Caaarrrl · 22/01/2025 18:20

Oh I'm sorry for this, OP. Was this a surprise or were you trying to get pregnant? Take care of yourself.

MrsMummy00 · 22/01/2025 21:25

No I had no idea, got it confirmed today that it was a pregnancy. I feel like I shouldn’t be sad as I didn’t even know but then I feel sad for not knowing . To be honest I don’t even know how I feel xx
