Just to preface - I know you're not medical professionals, just trying to avoid being 'that person' calling the midwife or assessment unit unnecessarily.

I'm 31 weeks pregnant and been feeling pretty rough and uncomfortable this last few days Got about 3 hours sleep last night because of back ache and just not being able to get comfortable.

Today I've basically slept all day while DD1 was at school and I've now got a banging headache which is mostly in the back of the head. Also had 3 nosebleeds and been sick.

Anyone had anything similar? Would you say it's just normal pregnancy or a bug....or something I should call up about? Babies movements have been fine.

It could be any number of things like you mentioned, general sickness, bit of a bug, even pregnancy exhaustion. However vomiting, nosebleeds and headaches paired together can occasionally point to pre eclampsia. Did the nosebleeds happen as a result of vomiting? The little vessels in your nose are more prone to bleeding in pregnancy due to the increase in blood volume, so vomiting could cause this. If it was a separate event that's different though. As a mum and a midwife I'd personally rather get it checked out. Even a phone call so they can review the whole picture with your history, obviously can only generalise online. A midwife wouldn't think you're being over the top by getting it checked, better to err on the side of caution. Hopefully it's nothing and you're feeling better soon.

@remaininghopeful23 thank you for your reply.
The nosebleeds have been separate to the throwing up. I've had 3 nosebleeds today and been feeling nauseous but only just actually been sick before writing this post.
I did actually have pre-eclampsia in my first pregnancy but haven't got any swelling or anything.
I think you're right, I'll give them a call.
Thank you

Please give triage a ring. I had preeclampsia without swelling but i did have nosebleeds and headaches. Hopefully just a bug for you, but always worth getting checked out to be on the safe side. Do you have someone to watch your eldest in case you need to stay for any monitoring?

Given your history then definitely a phone call for advice. Pre eclampsia is a weird one and can present in many different ways. Hoping it all settles down for you.

Yeah with the head aches I'd be having a triage call. Hopefully it's just a bug going round d op good luck
