Hey all

Initially writing on here as I am 4 weeks pregnant today. Found out on Friday, quite early. I had severe heartburn and nausea and sore breasts. Yesterday all symptoms kinda settled/ disappeared.
Wondering if this happened to anyone? Just worried as previous MMC, and it was the same, I felt loss of symptoms at 6 weeks and 7 weeks scan confirmed MC.
Just wanted some assurance/ experience

And also friends to go through the journey!!

In my experience my symptoms have been very up and down through my whole pregnancy and I'm currently 31 weeks. I think it's normal :) fingers crossed for you my love x

Thank you @Shahhhh and congratulations

It's very normal for symptoms to come and go, especially in the first trimester. You can be feeling the worst ever one minute then the next it's like your not even pregnant - totally normal and it has no bearing or whether this will be a viable pregnancy or not. Only time can tell you that I'm afraid.

Thank you for your response, just eases my worry a bit. I guess that's the journey!

I would repeat what the previous posts have said. I had a mmc and was clueless it had ended until a 9 week scan. Then in my next pregnancy my symptoms came and went. Even sickness would disappear for 5 days at a time then come back stronger throughout the first trimester. I went on to have my son from that pregnancy.

I think the issue is once you have had a mc/mmc you will have doubts and fears because it happened before. It got better for me after the first trimester, and I felt positive about the pregnancy from 20 weeks.

Good luck and I hope you have a smooth, uneventful first trimester and pregnancy.

Purplemug · 24/01/2025 06:09

Thank you @Blue2020 sorry to hear about your mmc,
And sharing your experience this makes me feel better. It's so hard not to worry. I think once I get past the 7 week mark and get a scan in I'll feel better.

Just thought I'd come on here see if by any chance there's anyone in the same boat
Symptoms continue to go, no sore boobs at all, I'm pretty much pre pregnancy state now.
Had HCG on Fri and today ... Awaiting results
Scan next Tues

I guess I just wait. Nothing changes the outcome.

Good luck with the scan and the results. I hope it’s good news for you.

Early pregnancy symptoms or Morning sickness which is common. You can look into "morning sickness tea" to alleviate the symptoms. It’s herbal and organic. The product is great to overcome pregnancy reflux, heartburn and nausea. You can get it from http://secretsoftea.com. Good luck

Thank you @Blue2020
You also commented on one of my previous threads (I had a different name) last Nov when I was trying to conceive and we discussed pre mom... Can't thank you enough for responding to my posts

I don't know if it's good news unfortunately

31st Jan HCG at 6100
4th Feb 12900
6th Feb 14000

Scan today at 6+3 no hb seen, she said it's measuring less than 6 weeks.

Not sure if there's hope to be honest

Oh no, sorry. I don’t have much experience with scans at the 6 week mark to give any hope/doubt regarding the heartbeat. I have only heard that it appears around the start of 6 weeks but I haven’t really looked into it at all. I guess you are fairly sure of the dates with testing early. Was it a transvaginal scan with it being ~6 weeks?

I have only just saw your latest posts on here, I’m glad I could help a bit last Nov. But equally sorry you are going through this uncertainty now. Have they scheduled another scan in to check if there is development/heartbeat?

I don’t know if it’s worth posting another thread on here asking specifically about hb at 6+3, or searching previous threads about it for others experience at this gestation.

Purplemug · 07/02/2025 18:46

Thank you @Blue2020
Yes I've started another thread, to see if anyone can share experiences

It was external, which I didn't realise when I booked! But she's offered me another one on Tues

GP rang to book me in for weds internal.scan..its just the uncertainty of it all, killing me

But I'm positive, and manifesting my heart out... It's going to be okay.

Thank you,.I really can't thank you enough

@Purplemug were you physically tracking ovulation? Are you 100% with your dates?

Hi @sel2223
Yes 100% confident with dates unfortunately
Only thing is my LH peak was cd 15 so ovulated cd 16 (instead of 14) and I tested for a week after too... Appart from that... Everything is clockwork for me

Should also say exactly this time last year had blighted ovum found out at 7 week scan!
So not sure if this is just me
