Clearblue 3+ not coming up but 5+4

Hi all, I wanted to post in case anyone searches for a similar situation. I tried to use the clearblue how many weeks to see my pregnancy progressing after a molar last year which needed chemotherapy as it turned cancerous. When I used the test I expected to see a 3+ because I was 5+4 (5+2 on dates). However it came up as 2-3. I was terrified and ordered hcg bloods privately for £120!! They came back at 8,900 which is 4x the threshold to get a 3+ on the test. So basically they are rubbish and I am measuring more like 6 weeks!

It says on the box that the weeks indicator is not always accurate.

Well yes but it is still scary (the test worked for me in my first successful pregnancy)

I did a clear blue when it should have been 3+ at 5+4 and it came up with 2-3, sent me into a panic as I’ve had recurrent miscarriage. Had a 6 week scan 3 days later and saw a heartbeat. I won’t use them in future and will try to get blood draws from GP in future pregnancies.
