Can anyone recommend a baby carrier/sling?

I didn’t use a baby carrier or sling with my previous baby’s but would like to try and use one this time around. Can anyone recommend any decent ones that are comfortable and strong?

I would recommend a sling library if you have one close by to try different ones.

You could buy a soft sling/wrap for the early days.

I used a caboo lite (it’s a wrap but partly stitched with hoops to tighten). Which lasted from 4weeks until 3.5 months old.

Then I went to a sling library and tried the Ergobaby omni 360 as a structured carrier, it worked well for me so I bought an Ergobaby breeze.

Yes to sling library! They’re amazing!

We don't have a local sling library but had the ergo Omni 360 for our and about and the ergobaby aura wrap for around the house, both got a lot of use

I had the baby bjorn with my first and thought it was awful , I hardly used it , just made my shoulders ache no matter how we adjusted it.

With my second I used a caboo lite, until she was almost 6 months old
We then switched to a Infantino Go Forward Evolved Carrier

I too used a caboo lite in the early days but that's better for young babies, up to 5 or 6 months maybe.
After that, you'll be better with something more structured

I loved my Moby sling for the early days but if there's a local sling library near you, go and try a few different styles to see what works for you and baby.

We had a Caboo Close for the early months and now have an Ergobaby as a more structured carrier.
