Can someone help me calculate my gestational sac size in mm?

I had a scan today where there was gestational sac present but no yolk sac or fetal pole. I have pcos and my cycle is super irregular so I can't go by my LMP dates, if I was to guess based on dates we had sex I'm likely to be 6 weeks today.

The sac is measuring 13x7x17mm. Can anyone tell me what size that is?

I want to know because if the sac is measuring bigger than 6 weeks I know it's likely a miscarriage but if it's measuring smaller I know I might have a small glimmer of hope. I get rescanned in 1 week but that wait us going to be torture!

I had an early scan at epu as I didn't know how far along I was.
Mine measured 17mm×18mm×20mm and it said under it, less than 5 weeks. There was a sac but no fetal pole. Went back 2 weeks later and was measuring 6w 6days and there was a little baby with a strong heartbeat. I'm sorry I can't help on the sizes. It's horrible having to wait to be rescanned. Just didn't want to read and run. Hope it all goes well

Thank you so much for sharing! Iv had previous losses and am usually bang on with dates but this time I wasn't using ovulation strips so I'm just guessing based off of symptoms and my flo app! The midwife today basically told me to prepare for the worst so iv spent the day freaking out but your story gives me some hope!! How far along where you when you tested positive on a test? I tested positive last week with a weak line so I'm assuming I have to be at least 5/6 weeks!

Your gestational sac measurement (MSD) is the sum of all measurements divided by 3. So (13+7+17)/3 = 12.3mm MSD.

The number of weeks (gestational age) based on MSD is:
Normal MSD (in mm) + 30 = days of pregnancy, so 42 days.

This is on the cusp of 6 weeks but could be a few days less as they're measuring mm so even a pixel off could change the measurements greatly. I was MSD 13mm and they told me I was 6 weeks. I did have a yolk sac then but no fetal pole and MC at 8 weeks. Though at 6 weeks they said the fetal pole could still grow and needed a re-scan in 2 weeks.

I would guard your heart as it could go either way, but there is still hope. Hoping you get a good result in a week!

Thank you so much for sharing! I'm preparing for the worst but will be over the moon if it goes the other way for us. The hardest part is being left in limbo and not knowing for so long! Just going to have to keep busy for the next week! 🤞

I wasn't very far at all, under 3 weeks, it was a very very faint line, had to use the phone torch to make sure it was there. I do hope it all goes well for you this week. Been thinking about you xx

I don’t have my measurements but I remember seeing the fetal pole very early.
