Hi, I can’t stop worrying about my baby throughout this pregnancy. I am 11 weeks I’ve had a scan yesterday all was fine but every day I’m consumed with worry that somethings going to happen and I will loose the baby so much so I’m struggling to enjoy the pregnancy. Any tips on how to help deal with this would really be appreciated.
thank you

Not sure I have tips necessarily but please do try to speak to someone and look into coping strategies. My pregnancy was destroyed by CONSTANT and I mean 24/7 worry. Now I’ve got a lovely baby girl but I wish I’d enjoyed carrying her more.

@Hopeful4546 I was like this (first pregnancy ended in MMC in July so this is the furthest I've got). I'm 17+4. I found it helpful to shift to a "I'm pregnant today" mindset rather than thinking about where I am on the timeline. Sort of thinking that you're pregnant until a medical professional says you aren't.

The usual self-care helps (take a walk, eat well, go to bed at a reasonable time, drink enough water, eat vegetables etc) but for really bad days I use this miscarriage risk calculator: https://datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer

Good luck! 🤞🏼

Miscarriage Odds Reassurer

It is very normal to feel anxious and worried to some degree in pregnancy but, if you find it is becoming all consuming and taking over your every thought, please do speak to your midwife.
Asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of.
