Hi OP

I'm sorry the risk has come back high, I understand how worrying this is. As someone who had at amniocentesis as 35 weeks pregnant I would suggest researching this or a less invasive test called the Harmony (may have other names). What did the medical professionals advise?

As for the scan, I don't think anyone will be able to comment. Even if there are medical professionals who read this thread, without conducting the scan themselves with all the measurements it wouldn't be possible.

I couldn't tell from my scan that my DD had DS. What chance were you given?

Was it the NIPT that was high chance or the regular, 12 week bloods? Have they advised other testing?

I’m afraid it’s impossible to say from the scan photos. If the sonographer had any cause for concern they would have told you but often there are no markers on ultrasound which is why the combined test is offered. Try to remember it’s an ‘increased’ chance, not a high chance. Around 3% of women having screening will come back as ‘increased chance’ but the majority of them are not carrying a baby with a trisomy. It's just a filter to target further tests.

There is a 1 in 75 chance and the TN was 2.6 they said.

I'm 39 and have had no morning sickness like the others this time round and have had on off pain and bleeding early on too.

Could anyone tell me if they can see the nasal bone on the scan as I'm unaware of what I am looking for? Many thanks

The only marker for me, at a later scan, showed small femurs.
